Always give a few big prizes via odds for the first 3 days then scale it back. The word of mouth is what gets them coming... IE "I know so and so won big...".

Don't forget to use eye-catchers like fireworks or those elune stone things. I've been making one a day since the lunar festival in case I eve needed. All you need is a solid stone and they are decently cheap on the AH.

Basically, for every $1 (or 1g) the player bets, you can expect to gain a profit of +5% (or +.05g) on that bet. That means, for every 100g players bet with you, you will theoretically gain 5g. Now I know that doesn't seem like much, but trust me, it is. Casinos wouldn't offer Roulette if they weren't making a killing on it. Plus, the 35-to-1 payout attracts a LOT of people. You might even consider changing the payout. That is up to you.

Also to clarify in order to receive the 5% you must play many times in order for the Law of Large Numbers to take place. You can't expect to play 6 times and get that 5%. You might get 30% or you might get -100% but through playing many many many games you will theoretically come out to 5.26% gained.

Wait, did he win or lose and ask for the gold? If he lost and you clearly explained the rules to him beforehand, you shouldn't have to give him anything.

I believe that it can be profitable for some people, but I'm not skilled enough to make a living that way, so I just play Free online slots.
