White Item That Sells For Over 400g Possible?

World of Warcraft is filled to the brim with a wide variety of
different items that can make you a great deal of money if you are
in the right place at the right time when they are available.
Things like recipes, limited edition pets, and multiple other items
that only spawn in a set amount of time can be highly profitable
for the savvy player. Which brings us to the focus of this email -
Formal Dangui.

The Ultimate Limited Supply Item

Formal Dangui is essentially the ultimate limited supply item.
Spawned in Moonglade and sold by Geenia Sunshadow, Formal Dangui is
only crafted by the NPC once every two months (estimated) or so and
is incredibly hard to get because of this. The item, when it is
available, sells for 50 gold, a pricy amount for a vendor sold
vanity item. The dress itself is essentially just a basic black and
red dress but its rarity combined with its attractive appearance
makes it highly sought after and causes it to sell at auction for
as much as 500 gold in some instances.

Getting a Chance to Buy It

The real hard part here is getting a chance to buy such a limited
supply item. Realistically, going to Moonglade every time you login
is a bit too hard to guarantee that you get the item you need.
However, if you instead station an alternate character in Moonglade
and leave them there, you can login into your account every day and
then check to see if the item is available. This requires almost no
additional work on your part (30 seconds every day) and will
ultimately result in a substantial reward if you get the item of up
to 450 Gold in profit.

It all looks good, the problem is, we dont know where she spawns, and otherwise. if she patrols it will make me go crazy, hate such vendors xD same as the cat vendor in Stormwind.

The problem is, that the dangui spawns possibly once every 3-5 days, which is why it's a 400g item. It's simply not worth the time involved camping it, unless you use a bot. In which case you would be better off botting eternals or fishing.

That's why I told you in the first post to log a character at the vendor. Just check it a few times a day.

Yeah, its a pretty neat item. I got one for a friend's birthday last year, but i don't think she knew what it was, (Besides a robe) :P

This sells for a LOT more than 4-500g. Try 5k+ Gl getting it though = /

Btw the reason its so good is because you can use Greater Rune of Warding on it making you basically unkillable at low levels.

The price may vary and not be correct. It's so rare that you probably can't even put a real value on it. It's worth whatever you sell it for.
