These days, prospecting Saronite Ore for gems can be a bit of a gamble, I've found it easier to make small amounts of gold simply by buying 2-3 Red/Yellow/Orange gems raw, cutting them to a popular cut and marking them up 20g. This way you don't have to deal with prospecting RNG

Also: Don't cut gems for tips, this goes for pretty much any production profession, except if you have a rare recipe. Using 5 minutes only to get a 5g tip because people are stingy is just a waste of time The AH is your friend.

Fish or Bot in wintergrasp. You should catch the following:
Glacial Salmon, Nettlefish, Muscleback Sculpin. You will also get clams they have a chance of dropping a Siren's Tear. Sell these all on the AH and control the prices.

Ex: on my server, im the only person that sells the fish on the AH. How? Well i post them on the AH for 50g buyout. any posts that are lower then that, i buyout immediately and repost at my price. this forces buyers to either buy my price or fish it up there self.

I've found it successful to stock up on "Bloodstones" and cut them into either Bold or Runed, regulars being about 8-10g each and perfects selling for 25g. Don't flood the AH with gems, but they do sell easily and it will add up. Also some people tend to get rid of stacks of raw bloodstone for cheap making their loss your gain.

Needed: Jewelcrafting, no need of heroism emblems and you got loads of them

1. go buy scarlet rubys from the heroism badge vendor
2. cut bright scarlet ruby or similiar
3. sell gems on AH

profit! you can also just sell the scarlet rubys if ur not JC, they go for like 60g on my server

I would just get bloodstones. as the post above says, make a perfect. then sell. this is a great method as a perfect is like 20%. AH price is like 20g+ so your already on a profit from a hole stack of bloodstones. and also the normal ones go for 9g+.. so all good.. happy moneymaking!

I post infinite dust for 60g/stack on my AH. But heres a handy tip:
Advertise to sell it for 58g/stack in your trade channel. You actually profit 1 more gold than you usually would (because of AH cuts).
Nice trick that not a lot of people know.
This can be applied to any item.

I was just checking around on the AH, when I came over Weapon Vellum III.

On my server, a stack of 5 was listed for 100g. I bought some Icethorn and milled it, and made 4 stacks of 5, 75g each. After 1 hour or something, 2 of them was sold.

This is much more valuable than any glyph I have seen on the market, but sadly it is pretty server dependant. Good luck farming.

I've found that prices on conversion items on my server have gone wildly unnoticed by those looking to make money.

Yesterday I spotted two stacks of 20 Eternal Shadow for 50g each. This was just completely insane, so I bought the stacks, converted them into 400 crystallized shadow, and sold for 2g a pop, the lowest price on the AH. 750g profit.

Although that may have just been by mental error of the person posting, this next one still netted a nice profit.

I bought two stacks of 10 Greater Eternal Essence for 30g each. This is 20 Greater Eternal, which I converted into 60 Lesser Eternal. Lesser Eternal fetches about 4g on my server, so I ended up making 240g, a 210g profit.

Conversion items are one of the easiest ways to make money these days, some people just don't realize it.

For those who are in need of money and have a lot of Stone keeper's shard that you do not use. This is the way to earn some quick gold.

The name of the 20 resilience gem are Kharmaa's grace and can be bought with 20 Stone keeper's shard

I guess the price is server dependant, but generally it sells for 70g+ each on AH.

I made some quick 300-400g because I had a lot of Stone keeper's shard.

Well if you do not think this is a "guide" for ah, then please remove it, and spare me the spam of hate

Just a quick tip, when putting something expensive on the AH, IE: Argent Tourny Pet, and it's the only one, put it up pretty high, IE: 1200. When someone goes to put there pet up, they'll see it at 1200g, they'll instinctively put it up for 1.1kg. Quickly cancel your auction, and put it up for 900-1000 gold. Making the buyer think yours is the much better deal, and buy it.

Well, what I like.

Is check how much the darkmoon card decks go for, and calculate how much paying each card seperatly would cost you. And buy all the cards then sell the deck.

Or when people are selling them in /trade when the Darkmoonfaire isn't there, lets say normally its 1k for a deck and they are seeling it for 900, whisping "800 and it's a deal" works quite often. There you go, free 200g

What you need:

engineer 75+ who can make Schematic: Mechanical Squirrel Box - Item - World of Warcraft

I've done this with level 20 and got 200gold in one night. I've put them into the AH for 15-20 gold each.
When it doesn't work, mail some of them to another character and put them for more golde into the AH. Because when the people see, you've got cheaper Squirrels than another one (who are you in this case) they will buy yours.
