Noob guide to using proxies

So, you just got on the site and want to scam, you read some of the wonderful scams people have come up with to make gold/accounts/cd keys/money and much more. So let's start on how to scam almost 100% safe without having a knock on your door.


A lot of scams will say "Be sure to use a proxy!" Now, WTF is a proxy you may ask? A proxy is an IP address hider used for security and covers up your real one with a fake one. Every time you enter a web page, it scans your ip adress, making you very vulnerable to attacks on your computer, not good!So we are going to hide that.


So, you have your scam in your mind and are ready to try it out on markee, or a gold selling site etc. First, let's hide your IP so no one comes knocking on your door and you go to jail like that 17 year old Brit. Let's go to http://www.anonymizer.com/consumer/p...ymous_surfing/ (this is my favorite proxy site but there are alot more.)


Ok so we are at anonymizer.com, once there let's click on " > Download Free Trial." Click on this. Hit RUN and when that finishes click RUN again. Once it downloads, it should give you the option as to where to save it. We are going to save it to our desktop. Once that is done, there should be the letter A in a circle with the title of anonymizer under it. Open that up, and there should be a side panel for options and on the front two bullet points with the tabs of Program,Status,Action,Help,and expiration date. Under it will be anonymous surfing and Nyms.

Under action, we are going to click on "Activate" next to anonymous surfer. It should take you to a page, click "Start Trial." It should give you some info. Type in the info you want and write it all down. You won't need it, just incase. Now it should be activated, unless it takes you to some other steps. Once that's done let's exit out. Re-open it and go to "Anonymous Surfer" on your side panel. It Should say " Anonymous surfer is on/off. Make sure to fill in "On" and also check in the other 2 boxes. On the other side it should say Your IP is ________________ then it should say "Others see ____________" Now your in, go do your scam and your safe!

since this is a trial will it run out? also is there any benefit for using this opposed to using TOR?
