These sets are the basic sets I’d like every druid to have because then you can mix within the items to find gear that suits every situation.

1: Flag carrying, - Well the most important thing here is to look at the minimap and see where your teammates are located, then try to figure out where your enemies are, and then choose the path you will take the flag.

Then it’s kind of up to you, to handle eventually encounters. The hardest class to get rid off is hunters. If only one hunter and no other class is chasing you it’s piece of cake " width="16" height="16" />When you get out of the flag room (Note this will only work if going ramp) Go close to the hunter and Root, then try go LoS and sleep pet and re-root at the furthest range, and then just walk away. But this won’t work as long as you have a rogue kicking you or you are in the midfield. So then you should try root rogue (nature’s grasp) and bash pet and run for your life!

If a warrior chase you, it’s important to get a bash/root, and get the range needed, and then have rank 1 moonfire to spam him with so he won’t get the charge. This is of course very hard to do if they have a hunter with them. And it’s all about luck to get away then (or a speed potion and hope the other player does not have it)

2: Support healing, in Warsong gulch.
Support healing in WSG technically is about HoT’s Roots and Bashing. Root everywhere because even 1-2 secs roots will disturb your opponents enough to make them “out of Order”

Dueling:

Note!

This dueling guide does not include shaman, priest and mage. Priests can't be killed and shamans counter druids 100 % in dueling. Mages are too easy to write a guide about. Hope you enjoy!

Druid VS Hunter:
-The probably hardest class to duel, hunter. Their ranged attacks, slows, pets – makes them a pain in the … The fight itself is not very complex, but relies on how experienced the hunter is with druids. As we all know hunter are considered: “LOL MY MOM CAN PLAY HUNTER”, but I’m sure if Bragh’s mom played hunter, you’d win. If the hunter has not played a druid before, odds are that you win.

The fight:
There are a few different starters:

1. Rush him, root, moonfire, bear form – bash when root is running out.

2. Root, moonfire him and los him. Will lower his hp by a good deal, and eventually he will send his pet on you – and you can start dps’ing that as well.

3. Don’t do anything at all, just waiting for him to come – and then put full nuke on his pet – same as you would do in nr. 1 (this can be dangerous though).

-Whatever start you choose, it will make you go heal or bandage at some point. You can get away by rooting the hunter, and eventually hibernate the pet, cleanse poison if necessary.
It is VERY important to keep the hunter from bandaging him or his pet, so moonfire of course (not the pet if it’s hibernated..).
-Being in bear form is always a good idea as hunters do heavy physical damage. Rooting is the best way to get distance on a hunter. When he is rooted, or you have distance, just melee his pet, even if you’re in caster form.
-Rinse and repeat – this is NOT easy, and depends a lot on the enemy hunter.

Things to remember:

-When hibernating a pet, make sure you don’t bandage right after, as pets are laggy and sometimes hits up to 1 second after they are hibernated.
-Try not to heal while standing in the open, as the hunter can fully dps you. Regrowth – reju is the best way to heal, as it doesn’t take as much casting time.
-Don’t shapeshift out of every wingclip/concussive shot, as it will drain you very fast.
-The hunters pet is his key to victory, killing it makes it all much easier.

Druid VS Rogue
-As we all know rogues are the most common twink class - gnomes with icy and fiery weapon, that doesn’t know they have a racial. Problem is: Some rogues actually got a brain (Omg?), and won’t forget they have a racial etc.
-Now let’s take a look at it. The rogue VS druid fight is probably the most complex fight. There are many things to remember. I’ll make a list of them in the end of this part.

Now for the fight:
-Running around in bear form, odds are that you will see the rogue before he garrotes you – as you can’t be sapped in bear form. Now, here are a few openers:

1. The most optimal. You see the rogue in stealth, gain some distance, kite and moonfire(rank 3), faerie fire and pop a reju – back to bear, and start the fight.

2. The second most optimal. You see the rogue in stealth, but he breaks his stealth to not let you kite him.

3. The bad one. The rogue garrottes you, and you will try to play a bit more defensive – backward jumping etc. before the first root, as you can fast go on low hp.

-After the openers you will root at about 80 %. This gives you time to both heal up fast, and to do a bit of damage. If you find yourself at low hp at this point, don’t be scared to bandage. Most rogues aren’t.
-At the first root most rogues will save their insignia, but some will go for a straight nuke down. If this happens you will wait for diminishing returns to fade, root again and bandage/heal up. This will give you the control of the game, as he does not have an Ace to play.
-If he saves his insignia, as most rogues do, it’s very important to keep on high hp all the time. If you’re suddenly low on hp, the rogue will use his trinket and kill you/make you use AGM.
-Basically rinse and repeat until rogue is about 60-40 %. From that point try keep a rank 1 moonfire on him – try to kite him while casting it, as you take nasty damage if you're in melee combat out of bear form.

For the nuke down:
-This is the winning point in the match. The rogue gouges you (full duration) – he should be around 20-40 % hp, else you're not going to do this, you use your insignia and moonfire him – if done correct he wont get 1 tick off his bandage, but still with the debuff “Recently Bandaged” up.
-Now it’s “just” to finish him. Remember to keep fairy fire up, and moonfire as well if the debuff is about to disappear/disappeared.

Surviving a rogue’s nuke down:

-When the rogue uses his insignia he will usually also blow sprint and eventually evasion (lol), therefore it’s hard you can’t kite him for long. If you just have a 1 second free time, you should cast a reju, and go back to bear, either waiting for diminishing returns, or re-root straight away if you're in deep ****. After the root you will either bandage or heal to full hp. Eventually re-root again if necessary. ( If you are horde, save your Warstomp for this)

How to bash-root a rogue:
-Most rogues got very high dodge, so bash is a more unsafe ability to use than warstomp and nature’s grasp. But still, with a little training it’s possible to never let the enemy dodge your bash. Basically you jump straight into him, and turn 180 degrees in the air, and bash him in the back – then gain distance and root, while turning your back to him of course.
-Some rogues don’t fall for this, so it’s necessary to use a more complex method I can’t describe, but it will come as you play you druid.

Things to remember:
-Rank 1 moonfire wins a fight – preventing re-stealthing and/or bandaging.
-Faerie fire prevents re-stealthing for a long period, very useful when you’re trying to kill a rogue, as he can’t run and re-stealth.
-Insignia of the horde/alliance is your deadliest weapon. Use it carefully.
-Whenever you're rooting, turn your back on the rogue – don’t want him to gouge you while he’s rooted.
-When you use nature’s grasp, use it just before he hits you, gives less time to an eventually gouge.
-Whenever you’re bandaging, look for thrown weapons going through the walls because the last thing you want to happen is to have a 0-1 ticking bandage as that’s not very funny.

Druid VS Warrior
-Warriors are probably the easiest class to beat 1v1 as a druid. Their lack of burst damage makes it easy to control the game, and they have no stun/incapacitating abilities to get a free bandage. What can make them nasty are their big hp pools and heavy armor. It can take a long time to kill a warrior, but it can be done slowly and safely.

Let’s get to it. The fight:
-If you can you should always try to get a regrowth – reju ticking on you, before you engage the warrior in bear form – usually he will charge you. (The regrowth – reju can be done in the seconds before the duel start, if done outside the arena)
-Basically just maul him, until your hp is around 80-90 %. Pop nature’s grasp. When it procs, go heal full, and if you feel you got the manna and time for it, do a bit of dps – wrath moonfire w/e. As always it’s a good idea to pop a reju right before you engage melee combat again.
-Keep doing this, you can root at lower hp percentages as well, and bandage if you feel like it – just remember always to have a moonfire or root ticking on him. (Moonfire preferred as it ticks faster than root)
-When he uses his insignia you should have the hp to outlast the DR, but you can re-root if you’re very low on hp.
-When he gets low on hp, he will start playing more defensively, and you can basically just stick on him in caster form – moonfire, root, wrath etc. Eventually go bear form if he strings you and it seems like he’s getting away.

Things to remember:
-Never, ever let a warrior bandage to full hp. As he doesn’t live on his CD’s like a rogue, it restarts the fight for him – with you on lower mana and health.
-Always watch out for rend if your rooting to bandage – it has a long duration.
-If you’re full sundered, and you can see it’s running out while the warrior is rooted, try kite him until they are gone. Then he will have to re-stack.
-AGM works like a priests bubble, warriors don’t get rage while hitting you when it’s up. Timing your AGM while he’s on low rage can save you from being shield bashed/harmstringed. (Notice that this also apply for bear form, so watch out the other way round)

Druid VS Warlock.
The warlock is an opponent that always needs to be taken on with carefulness. There are a few things that must NOT happen in a duel vs. a warlock; I’ll list those in the end.

The fight:
-Usually the warlock will have some distance to you when the fight starts, eventually you can root him/moonfire him, and gain some distance. Just keep reju up, slap him with your weapon (I hope you have a decent 1), and remember to moonfire (eventually rank 1), right before he gets his fear off, to keep him from bandaging.
-Use regrowth over healing touch as it counters dots. Healing touch is only for crucial situations.
If you get feared and don’t have a moonfire on him, and he’s going to bandage from low hp, use your trinket and break his bandage.
-The druid – warlock fights basics are very simple, but it relies a bit on a few tricks or ways to do damage.

Tricks/comb0s:
-Nature’s grasp, when you’re going to heal, pop it to get the voidwalker off you.
-Root, moonfire, bear form dps is great, bashing a fear letting you have some more time in melee with him, don’t do this too much though, as it’s rather mana expensive.
-Rooting a warlock just a second before you get feared can prevent him from running away and bandaging ( as your dots can run out).
-If you're running to get distance on the warlock, try hit the voidwalker while running, eventually you will get the chance to kill it/make him use the absorb shield.

Things to remember:

-Regrowth and reju counter dots, try keep reju up at most times.
-Moonfire right before getting feared is a must when he gets low on hp.
-Make sure you have a decent amount of mana regen.
