Ok, have you ever had a lot of addons on your wow and then suddenly...BLAM...patches like 3.0 come along and rape them all. well this little beauty called Wowmatix makes it so that if your addons are out of date it will find and replace it at the click of a button...

go here and Download it. open the zipped folder you get and then run the file. it will find all the addons you have in your addon folder and report the ones that are working and the ones that are out of date. then you can decied wether to update the addon or not. it supports over 1,500 addons and updates a lot. It also has a search feature so you dont have to go trolling wowace and cure and all the other hundreds of addon sites out there, just type the name of the addon and it comes up, then it will even install it for you.

There you have it. Never have to worry about your addons going out of date, or finding a new addon.

seems wowace updater folks are putting their power behind the curse client. ( i liked wowmatrix, but its not updating my addons like it should. i'm finding newer versions manually)

wowmatrix is updating for me like it should. and sorry that ist a repost but i saerched wow matrix, and it diddnt show any op trhreads with the same topic.

just FYI, I used wowmatrix up until 1) I found out that is removes components of Auctioneer making it less useful or even useless at times (it removes stubby), 2) I figured out that cursegaming changed their updater and now it is better than wowmatrix IMO

I always disliked that wowmatrix runs off of release numbers and not dates because some coders like to be lazy. You end up with a version that is more up to date called 2202 and wowmatrix detects r2 as the latest. This is not true with curse, it says the one you have was made 2/12/08 and the new one available was made 11/10/08.

I still run both just to see what comes up, but curses addon manager is better
