Uncut epic gems @ 4000g over night?

Ok! So you have about 1 week to do this, since WOTLK will be out then, and im guessing the price will go down then since blue gems will surely be better!

This is simple, and I will keep it short!

Say in trade chat "Buying all sorts of uncut epic gems, 50g each! Turn in your Badge of Justice before its to late!"

Normally you will get alot of whispers, and now buy all sorts of gems! (Most popular on my server is Lionseye, Crimson Spinel and Pyrestone

Find a jewelcrafter, make perhaps 50 different sort of gems (Purchased for 2500g), put these on AH for whereabout 140g.
And over the night, or perhaps 2 nights, they will all be sold, and you will then get 7000g, with a profit off 4500 gold!

This was no copy pasta, and I did not find any other guides with this one, and if there is one, I couldnt care less.

Oh its easy, Crafted gems are already dropping to 50 / 75 gold on my server.
And those are the realy realy wanted ones. Example: 10 hit - 10 agi - 12 spellpower.
Selling for less then 75g...

Ok, so far only silly and stupid feedback. YES you need some starting money, and YES its COMMON SENCE if you THINK OF IT!
On my server the price per epic gem is STILL 120-160g per gem. Ofc its different from server to server, and YES, you can EASILY buy epic gems for 50g each. Im buying up to 100 per day.

Buy low, sell high is common sense but, nice idea regardless. Havent seen any selling this low on my server though.

i doubt if you could do this with the 'wow economy' as it is atm =P
also if this made as much money as you say it should, surely everyone would be doing it?

About 5 on my server is doing it. Still fully doable. I dont really care if your server is at a bad economy atm, or you think it is.
Check the prices on AH on your server, and see if you can make profit of it!

Selling your epic gems now is advisable anyhow.


I have epic gems in every slot on my main character and I changed all of them for green or blue gems on the beta.

Not only does the green wotlk gems have the same or even better stats as epic bc gems, they also come in new, different and cool forms, such as expertise/hit gems.

Yes, thats why I am saying this is only possible for about 1 more week. People are STILL purchasing EPIC GEMS!

This method is quite possible, my guild's MT is a JC sitting on about 25k gold from auctions alone since 3.0

Advice for the future to the OP, nobody's going to take you seriously if you lurk in your own post waiting for replies and get defensive when anyone makes a comment you don't agree with. It just makes you look like a rep-hungry kid with a fragile ego. Best to just leave it alone and let people have their opinion.

Sure they can. And im checking the post every once in a while if people got questions. But its bloody annoying to see when people are trying to prove that the post is fake or somewhat, and perhaps dont even care about even checking it. Owell, you might be right

It is amazing that people are still paying the gold out for those items that Lich King is coming out so soon. I just dont understand the logic behind it. But hey i guess it will help leveling a bit.
