Incrase drop rates

Firstly, this i smy first guide post so please dont flame, Also this could be posted in exploits forum, but i dont really enjoy exploiting in a game.

Well this "technique" works 90% of the time for me, here is an introduction to it.

Have u ever had those days, when u working on a "collect a <item drop> quest, and its always on the last 3/2/1 drop that nomatter how many u kill i never drops.

Well according to my personal experiences as well asl close friends' ones too, that the more bag space you have the better chance of getting blues,greens,quest item drops etc.

Well when ever i get stuck on a drop quest i always jsut choose 2 or three worthless items in my bag and delete them/use them/consume them. And 90% of the time the very next time u try to get the item it drops.

E.G. :
I am killing Rabid Dire Wolves for a [Rabid Fang] for some wolf freak in duskwood. I have collected 8/10 in 15 kills. I spend another 10 kills, and not one [Rabid Fang] drops. So i delete 2-3 items from my bag and the very next Rabid Dire Wolf i kill it drops 90% of the time



Well that is my experience, please dont flame but constructive crittesism is allowed and accepted, post your views on this!. Hope it helps some of you guys

I cant prove anything yet but it is just a theory that has worked for me and friends, try and see for your self. I know the "delete and item in bag for quest drop" works well for me. I jsut generated the possible idea about move space you have the better drop chances you have. Anyway use your imagination. Post what you think.

Say what u may, but fyi i am a level 70 hunter in a respectable guild and i have used this technique from level 32 (Started in STV) and it has worked pretty well for me each time. When servers are back up i shall go test it on farming me some Aldor rep =)

agreed, as long as ive played wow, i usually get more loot when i have more stuff in my bag, i once went to skald with almost all my items in the bank, the next time i went there i had lots of other crap items which took like 75% of my bags, and those motes of fire dropped 24/7 ^^

It's more like, luck? I dont' really know what to call it, but this morning I was grinding and I got a blue with 1 slot left in my bag, Theorycraft ftl, but still thanks for posting ^.^

yeah hey, im not saying that u wont get a drop with no bag space, i mean i have gotten plenty of greens,blues and even Helm of Narv (epic) with all my bag slots full, but i try to have all 18 slot bags (onxia bag FTW)t o increase my bag space. Also i have the bank loot addon so i put all my quest/rep/pottable items etc in my bank when eve im not needing them but il always know where they are. When i eg. farmnetherweave i try to send it off to my bank char asap i get a stack or 2. Also i send all greens/blues off to my bank char or vendor.

I'm sorry to say, but somewhere on the blizzard website it clearly states that the mob either spawns with it or it doesn't (This goes for quest items too.) Sorry, but this is a coincidence.

im gonna go with it being a coincidence. but of course, there is never any real way that "We," the WoW players, will ever be able to truely confrim for certain what is true. i dont believe that drops are necessarily dependant or influenced by the amount of bag space thats open on your character. :P

Again, I call coincidence. Based on the mobs being previously setup to drop regardless of player, bag space or any outside variables, what you're essentially looking at every time is a butt-load of mobs, each carrying loot that exists whether you kill it or someone 3 days later does.
