    Getting ready for Wrath

    Lets talk about Wrath and the new profession Inscription. Well here you can see that it requires a ton of herbs. With insrciption you have to mill your herbs which is the same thing as prospecting for mining. So a good idea would be to buy any cheap herbs and or farm some for yourself and wait until launch. You should do this because everyone wants to do the brand new profession and have all the cool glyphs and such. This will cause inflation which you probably know.. I figure farming the higher lvl herbs 40-60 will net you more cash since they are more rare.
    You could also do this if you plan to lvl inscription as well.

    Here's an image of me starting my stock pile:
    To those of you wondering I did just start herbalism.

    Anyone know the best possible place for me to start collecting herbs, or could someone give me a list of herbs that are expected to jump up in price when WotLK is released?

    NiHao...Imo id look in the lower level places, as those will be in highest demand, as those will be the first to be "herb mined"(whatever the new inscription thing is called)
    or be lazy like me and buy 3 stacks of every herb on the AH and wait to make $$$ =p

    Already have 2 characters which have their bank filled with herbs, as well as their bags.
    Rooting for a 10g per 5 herbs sell price.

    Just start in the starting grounds picking herbs and make your way up to higher level zones as you need to move on to other herbs. i power leveld herbalism on my rogue and have a bank alt stuffed with herbs ready for inscriptions.

    Get gatherer and a database

    Ive got the following text saved in a file on my desktop, its been posted alot before, but is what your looking for

    Inscription 1: {Bloodthistle}, {Earthroot}, , {Mageroyal}, {Peacebloom}, {Silverleaf}.
    * Inscription 25: {Briarthorn}, {Bruiseweed}, Strangelkelp, {Swiftthistle}.
    * Inscription 75: Grave Moss, {Kingsblood}, {Liferoot}, {Wilmd Steelbloom}.
    * Inscription 125: {Fadeleaf}, {Goldthorn}, {Khadgar's Whisker}, Wintersbite.
    * Inscription 175: {Arthas' Tears}, Blindweed, {Firebloom}, Ghost Mushroom, Gromsblood, {Purple Lotus}, {Sungrass}.
    * Inscription 225: {Dreamfoil}, {Golden Sansam}, Icecap, {Mountain Silversage}, {Plaguebloom}. <<need 19 stacks>>
    * Inscription 275: Ancient Lichen, {Dreaming Glory}, {Felweed}, {Flame Cap}, Mana Thistle, Netherbloom, Nightmare Vine, Ragveil, {Terocone} (All Outland herbs).
    * Inscription 325: Adder's Tongue, Constrictor Grass, Goldclover, Icethorn, Lichbloom, Talandra's Rose, Tiger Lily (All Northrend Herbs).
    * Cannot be Milled: Black Lotus, Deadnettle, Fel Blossom, Fel Lotus, Fire Leaf, Fire Seed, Glowcap, Netherdust Pollen, Nightmare Seed, Unidentified Plant Parts, Wildvine.

    I didn't see any of these posted here, so hope u guys enjoy.

    At the moment you can’t level inscription past 300. So revisit this guide and check if that changed

    -----------------------

    You mil 5 herbs to 2 - 3 pigments*.
    Each herb tier gives different pigments:

    Alabaster Pigment: Bloodthistle / Peacebloom / Silverleaf / Earthroot / Mageroyal
    Dusky Pigment: Briarthorn / Swiftthistle / Bruiseweed / Stranglekelp
    Golden Pigment: Wild Steelbloom / Grave Moss / Kingsblood / Liferoot
    Emerald Pigment: Fadeleaf / Goldthorn / Khadgar's Whiskers / Wintersbite
    Violet Pigment: Firebloom / Purple Lotus / Arthas' Tears / Sungrass / Blindweed / Ghost Mushroom / Gromsblood
    Silvery Pigment: Golden Sansam / Dreamfoil / Mountain Silversage / Plaguebloom / Icecap

    To level Inscription to 300 you’ll need the following ammount of herbs:
    (This list if for the worst case scenario where you would get every time 2 pigments from milling. You should need less materials.)

    10 stacks of Alabaster-giving herbs (eg. 200x Peacbloom)
    5 stacks of Dusky-giving herbs (eg. 100x Brianthorn)
    5 stacks of Golden-giving herbs (eg. 100x Kingsblood)
    6 stacks of Emerald-giving herbs (eg. 120x Goldthorn)
    12 stacks of Violet-giving herbs (eg. 240x Blindweed)
    19 stacks of Silvery-giving herbs (eg. 380x Dreamfoil)

    In total you’ll need the following materials:

    33 x Silverleaf
    20 Silver Ink
    81 Alabaster Pigment
    39 Dusky Pigment
    35 Golden Pigment
    41 Emerald Pigment
    95 Violet Pigment
    150 Silvery Pigment
