[How to] Get alot of gold when WotLK comes :)

As some of you may know, in WotLK enchantings can be sold as scrolls. Which means you can put them on AH.

So, on to my guide
1. Gather ALOT of reagents for enchantments like Mongoose etc., something that people want.
2. Wait for WotLK to come.
3. As soon as you have it, make enchantment scrolls and put them on AH. This should sell pretty well

It would be VERY expensive to gather mats for like 10 enchants, if that is what you are saying >.> THe scrolls may sell well, but you are still going to lose ALOT of money in the process...

You wouldn't "lose" alot of money, you would invest it. It's a dangerous game to play indeed, but why not just FARM the mats? You don't have to buy them, you know

Actually, righteous orbs the ones needed for crusader enchant popped up pretty much when tbc came, atleast on my server, most people who wanted enchant still bough it

I made an herbalism alt. Since Incription probably will need herbs, so that's gonna be money then! My whole bank is full now with herbs

Easier way to make money, NOW, by playing the AH.

Buy mats for mongoose, and +healing to weapon, and +spell damage to weapon. Buy them when prices drop, after a PVP season has been around for a LONG time. ( the end of season 4 for example ) Then wait to post them on the AH, untill a new season. When new arena seasons come out, prices sky rocket. $$$

I would think prices would go down for enchants like that. Even ignoring that there will be new enchants that are better, there will be more competition, since an enchanter doesn't have to stand in Org/Shat or wherever spamming their enchant macro every two minutes to make any money. Instead, they spend five minutes making a bunch of scrolls, throw them up on the AH for less than everyone else, and go do something else. Prices drop, and enchanting becomes just like nearly every other crafting profession, nearly profitless.

However, depending on what mats greens in WotLK DE into, prices for Arcane Dust and Planar Essences will probably go up, since there will be a much shorter supply of greens to the market to DE into those (like Illusion Dust and Eternal Essences now, which while always pretty expensive, have gone way up from pre-TBC days).

bad idea, good thought but wont work, they are going to release new enchants and all the prices of mats are going to crash down, so yea good thought, dont try it tho
