    How to increase your fps[with video]!

    I know I've had problems with my fps before and i thought i would share this with everyone. I did searches and i don't believe anyone has posted this but if I missed it delete this post.

    This is an easy way to increase your fps with wow and all other games using Windows XP or Vista. Enjoy!

    =========================================================

    STEP ONE: Go to your game directory (ex. program files/world of warcraft/) then right click and select new-text document.

    STEP TWO: name the text-document "wow.bat" (if it doesn't turn into a .bat file you may need to use notepad and save as "wow.bat".

    STEP THREE: Right click the file and select EDIT, then type in the following:
    -------------------------
    @echo off
    cd /d "Path to folder"
    start /high wow.exe
    -------------------------

    STEP FOUR: Save the file and exit, then right click on the file and click send to desktop. Click on the file in your desktop and Enjoy your new fps

    =========================================================

    This increases your fps by usually 5-15!

    What he means is; you need to open the document in notepad, click 'Save as', change it from 'Text Document' to 'All Files' and call it 'WoW.BAT'. After that, just follow the steps

    Can't you also just type /high in the command line of a shortcut to Wow?

    I save it as a .bat file in both the regular and/or notebook way, but can't get it to "change" into the .bat file, any help?
