    how to lead and start a successfully raiding guild

    in this thread i wont post tactics im gonna write down how you can successfully start a raiding guild hopefully you will drive to success
    with a strong leadership. most chance to draw people to you is that you have
    good gear and knowledge.

    Ok its late at night 04.23 i was pretty bored and abit tired when i wrote this bare with me and i know this aint the best im just trying to contribute without ripping someone else's post.

    its alot easier if you start this on a medium populated server.
    so obviously first you need to start a guild either get some lowlevels/randoms
    To sign the charter later just kick em start a website (Guildomatic : World of Warcraft Guild Hosting is a good site) fix it upp.

    now try to see if any recent ssc/tk guild have disbanded and try to get em in
    also write in trade that your guild is looking for members (for example)
    (guildname Is a new guild on realm we are currently in kara/za content but will proggres very fast ) etc you get the idea.

    obviously try to not invite someone without letting them make an recruitment post on your forum you dont want to have slackers that will
    slow down the proggres.
    if you can get members try not to take to many people
    take for example
    4-locks
    4-rogues
    2-fury warriors/ms if you want to
    3-prot warriors
    3-5 holy paladins
    2-3 feral druids
    2-3 shadow priests ,depends how active they are
    2-4 hunters take max 3 if they are active
    2-4 holy priests
    1-2 ench shamans
    if you want an elemental shaman just take 1
    3-4 mages
    2-4 resto shamans
    max 2 active resto druids would do it.

    Now you will ned Classofficer to help you lead the guild try to get the mature and active one's some guilds tend also to have second officer or just officer+classofficer rank.
    Set upp a Dkp rule for gear .
    hopefully you have a guild ready for kara/za-grull.
    Start with kara since it is easy getting it done on first night is perfect.
    Za is abit harder if you cant clear it dont bother making it the main raid.
    Start off with gruul take max 2 nights if you have trouble clearing it.

    Some guilds have skipped Magtheridon cause lack of locks and the gear is good but not very needed Before the nerf This was perfect since Focus and communication was the key to the whole fight
    now since its nerfed its pretty easy you could skip it but i would advise to do it.

    Now come's the "hard part" So youl need nature and frost gear for the warrior tanks now Make this write down how many primals you need and
    give +dkp not much abit 1/8 from what you give on a boss kill would do good to anyone that brings 1primal to speed upp the proggres to kill hydros.

    entry in to ssc.
    Start off with lurker since he is the easiest one.
    Get Lock classleader to buy Fire ress gear and head upp to leotheras since he needs focus from the raid to kill him +gear uppgrade is good from him.
    hopefully you will have frost/nature ress for hydros.
    this should have been done in 1 week of raids (4-5 raids a week)

    you still might have some problem on second kills some whipe from then to then the bosses aint on farm still but should be within 2 weeks after the first kills.

    Now you

    Voidreaver the reason for taking void reaveris cause he is very easy should be down in 3-4 trye's the gear is great for tanking and raid dps ,heal

    now solarian aint hard but i suggest to wait for it .

    head back to ssc hopefully now you have the gear for Morogrim and Fathom lord they both are Very easy not sohard just needs gear and focus try to get em down both in 1 day or 2 .

    Vashj needs abit more gear so head back to Tk

    Al'ar Pretty easy fight focus as all of em not much of a fight phase 1 range on alar melle on the adds then change on phase 2
    then try to kill Solarian this is alot like voidreaver just avoid the bombs and dps.

    this can be around 4-6 weeks after going in ssc Vashj is alot of focus
    this will be hard if the players dont communicate at all
    get some locks or 1 respecc affliction for the spore's.

    kael will take alot of time whipe after whipe you can skip him now but dont
    cause if you cant kill kael you will have som hard time in bt/hyjal
    .
    Blacktemple and hyjal.
    After kael kill Try to get people the same night to get to hyjal to kill Rage winterchill and then make it a raidoff.
    try to get 3/5 in hyjal before heading to Bt.
    the first 4 bosses is pretty easy in bt najentus supremus shade and teron gorefiend should go down in 2 raids .
    Now you can either Take down Ros and Gurtogg or you can try to take down Archimonde archimonde helps alot with gear.
    well then its just mother and council then illidan
    Dont try to get stuck on illidan for just farming warglaive's it will basicaly lead the guild to a disband seen it happen to 3 guilds on my former server.

    its always nice to personally know ur second in command for the simple fact of you know them and they are less likely to turn on u.

    nice guide.

    only part I didn't like is where you said about which types of people to let in (resto shaman, etc) and you COMPLETELY left out pallys D=.... so mean!


    EDIT: o wait you said holy pallys... you are forgiven ^^... although at least ONE ret pally wouldn't hurt <.<

    reason for not mentioning ret paladins/tankadins is cause in my whole wow carrier i have never raided a singple pug or non pug with a ret pala to know how much they can dps.
    but i always know that they can contribute to meele dps but i would most likely give that spot to a feral druid or ench shaman
