Fast & Easy Cooking Skill in Orgimmar

To save time while leveling your cooking skill in Orgimmar, you can visit Shimra (The Trade Supplier)
that is in the house near the Orgimmar main entrance. Shimra - NPC - World of Warcraft

To start cooking, all you need to do is gather the required meat or fish your recipe asks for
and visit Shimra to purchase the required spices.
Without having to move or close the vendor screen, you can simply cook away, using the torch that she is holding as your campfire / cooking heat source.

The cooking ranks and required levels are as follows:

--------RANK -------SKILL LEVEL (MIN-MAX)--- MIN. CHARACTER LEVEL

• APPRENTICE --------1 - 75 ------------------------------LEVEL 1
• JOURNEYMAN------ 75 - 150 -----------------------------LEVEL 1
• EXPERT ----------150 - 225 PURCHASE[Expert Cookbook] -LEVEL 1
• ARTISIAN --------225 - 300 QUEST ----------------------LEVEL 35
• MASTER ---------300 - 375 PURCHASE[Master Cookbook]- LEVEL 55

Thats pretty sweet! Makes it easier just like using the tailor trainer in UC with the Tailor supplies stood right next to it.

Yey, you found a vendor that sells 4 kinds of cooking mets, I wonder what other vendors do that...hmm...COOKING VENDORS IN EVERY CITY!!
(ask a guard for cooking trainer, the vendor will be cloce to the trainer).

Yeh you did miss something, the torch she is holding can be used as a fire to cook on meaning you don't have to buy the supplies then run to the nearest fire, you can cook right there and buy more mats if you need to

i tend to spend a few silvers and build my fire under the trainer/vendor

I partially agree with the criticism, the only positive thing though is that the vendor holds the torch. Otherwise i`d classify this as common sense and in no need to be posted here:P

That was my point, that you can use the torch she is holding as the fire source for cooking.

This tip goes along the same line as the fact that rogues can pickpocket all slimes and oozlings.

These are not game altering points, but may be helpful to a few folks. That was my intention. It just makes it a little faster to level up cooking -- that is all. Nothing more, nothing less.

I cannot attest to Allied vendors with the same ability, as I only have Horde toons.
