how to run glider if you are on a 64 bit system.

This is just a basic guide as iv got wireless and its a bit more annoying to make it work.

im not going to lie. you need a fairly good system to do this but nvm about that atm.
first things first youl need the iso of a none 64 bit os like xp. i would link this but as of yet iv not found one, i just use my windows xp cd.

the next thing you will need is the vertual machine to run the os , wow and the glider. you can get that here : Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 download

right, install the vm and run it. it should then take you through the setting up of your vm. change the setting to what ever suits you best then continue. you should then be confronted with a screen that is called virtual pc console. you should see on the left hand side a window with the vm, it should also show the vm's name put your os disk in your drive and run the vm. when its starts install like a normal os. if your using a iso then at the top of the vm window you should see somthing that says cd open that then look for your iso and run from there.
to take your mouse out of the window you need to hit the alt key on the right of the keybored.

leave that to install and then we can move onto the next part.

from here on you just install wow or copy the files over the same goes for glider , you then just run as normal. to set up for net access you need to right click on the network symbol at the bottom of the window and then select your network connection. if your on wireless i have yet to find a way to make this work although im sure there is a way. to copy the files over you can either copy them across your network or just re install them on the vm.

hope this helps. when i figure out how to make this run with wireless il add it. also if people wana add bits feel free.
lots of spelling mistakes i know. =)

ive tried this out even on my system with massive resources i can barely do anything else then let it run its course, for 64bit system i think its better off going openbot anyhow since glider does mention its not 32bit compatible or if you missed it you can talk to the guys in the forums and they should be able to refund np.

64 bit operating systems don't allow the use of shadow drivers, which is the thing that keeps glider safe. Instead of typing /nodriver, a better suggestion would be to run around Org and spam trade chat saying you bot.
<GM> Zarabrough: Greetings! What may I assist you with today?

To be honest I run X64 XP and I'm running an old ass version of glider since last year not sure how I tweaked it to run on X64 but it works and none of the newer versions do. Been botting 10 hours a day since and never had a ban. /shrug I can post my version and command files on rapid share if you want instead of having to tweak a bunch of crap like the poster above if anyone wants PM me.
