Changing In-Game WoW Font

This guide will tell you how to change the font (in game) for World of Warcraft.

1)Go to C:\Windows\Fonts\ and find the font you want. Copy it to a different folder, then copy it 3 times so that you have 4 copies of it.
1a) Alternatively, you can use different fonts for each thing. Credit to leof for finding what each one does.

Arian.tft -> Chat/Icon-in-Bar numbers/Input Text

Morpheus.tft -> None or Unkown

FrizQT___.tft -> Char. Name/Mouseover Icon Description/Interface/Combat (Scrolling Damage)

Skurri.tft -> Self Damage

2)Name the 4 copies to ARIALN.TTF, FRIZQT__.TTF, MORPHEUS.TTF, and SKURRI.TTF COPY AND PASTE SO YOU DON'T MAKE MISTAKES.

3)Navigate to your World of Warcraft folder. Right-click and go to New -> New Folder. Name the folder Fonts.


4)Copy the 4 font files from before into this folder.


5) Load up the game and enjoy the change!

I followed all the instructions but it didn't work :/ been patched or something? It just doesnt change the font, don't get an error or anything just the same as before i put the fonts in.

Hasn't been patched seeing as how I wrote this tutorial today, and it works.

Is the Fonts folder in your main WoW directory? Not in any subfolders?

Hmm i used an Addon from ui.worldofwar.net.. ClearFont it's named.. Pretty good

No its definitely in the right folder see

and this is the names of them inside the folder, I have followed the instructions but nothing has changed when i go in WoW :S

Ok I sorted it now just 1 problem. I can't see peoples names above their heads and when i do /s its a blank box above my head. Any way around this? +rep btw.
