    Downgrade your WoW Client

Note: This guide downgrades any version of WoW to version 1.0

First goto your World of Warcraft folder and open up your data folder

    Attachment 103

Next select your patch files (Any that say patch in it) and delete them

    Attachment 104

Now that those files are deleted you want to run the repair tool, just select the first option and go watch some TV becuase its going to take a bit.

    Attachment 105

After that run whatever patch you want to patch to

    Re: Downgrade your WoW Client

Just FYI You need alot of space to downgrade/upgrade repair the WoW files (especially the MPQ's). You'll need at least 5GB (or equivalent to the total overall filesize of WOW folder or the biggest MPQ filesize)--but for more optimal performance, have at least 10GB. And do not use your computer while doing so. Less harddrive activity helps. What the patcher does is it unpacks the MPQ archive, updates the files, then repacking the MPQ. MPQ's, simply to say, are like ZIPs or RARs.
