[Tip] Free name change along with character transfer

So guys, when ever you transfer a character to a different Server, create a lvl 1 alt on that server before with the exact same name.
This makes you able to choose a new name for your main character, because the old one is already taken.
If you don't create an alt, you miss that chance and would've to pay for a rename.
Keep that in mind

Repost sorry man,also if you create the alt on your account or any ac count in your name and blizzard detects it then they will ban you for exploiting game mechanics.

Yeah i agree you might call that common sense, many people will know this already. Some mates didn't, so I posted it here.

btw, since the name change "service" exists, gm's take it way too seriously...before you could just open a ticket, saying "typo in my name" or "local trademark / group / whatever has the same name", and you got a rename...now they want you to pay 8€ even if your char is like lvl 6 or something. Kinda sucks, but money > all i guess

hmm ok well i take back what i said then. I just remember there being a post a while ago about if you create a char solely for the paid char name change then they take ation or something like that, might not be a ban, but maybe im wrong

Well if you've built rep on one server, it's completely void on another server. Also useful for ninja's that want to rid their bad rep on a server.
