2.4 "Wrong game version" Solutions! Pack'd and ready to go!

Hey MMowned. I just fixed my WoW, so I'm able to login at the new servers. I Wanted to share loads of ways you can do this.


1. Go into you'r wow folder.
2. Delete Cache.
3. Run the Repair tool. Remember to uncheck: Reset WoW interfaces and Restet WoW Configs.
4. Now run as "Reset and check files".


What I did was close my wow.exe, open WoW folder and rename the folder named WTF to WTF-OLD. You can rename it to w/e you like. Then you start wow.exe again and viola!

After renaming the folder and u still get the same error message, restart your computer. Thats what worked for my both cmputers.

1.Copy the WTF, Interface and Chache folders and past them anywhere on your computer.

2.Go back to your wow folder and delete the WTF, Interface and Chache folders.

3.Movethe WTF, Interface and Chache folders from where you did paste them to your wow folder (c:/program/world of warcraft/).

May work with only copying / moving the WTF folder...

Yeah thank you very much! I fixed it, but i had a Runtime problem when trying to Instal 2,4! but thx to you i fixed it +rep!
