By the way xzodus, ive done kael on heroic.

He has a "mana shield" type deal happen at 60% or so, after you kill the first phoenix, which is when he starts casting pyroblast.

This pyroblast hits for 45k and is unavoidable so your dps must have great bursts, To interrupt this you got to take down the shield (10k damage in 3 seconds!) and interrupt it (Counterspell, kick, pummel, fel hunter spell lock) If you interrupt that the fight is pretty much over.

After this gravity lapse will happen, apparently (from one of my buddies) You can jump as soon as gravity lapse occurs and you won't get thrown up or take any dot damage (300 or so damage per second you float).

Avoid the orbs, stay alive and the fight is over.

That what I said, avoid the orbs, or you die... well not quite like that, thanks I will fix it; I forgot about the mana shield

    Epic fail ~

Kael'thas is defeated in Tempest Keep after trying to harness a power to that of the Sunwell, but is 'defeated', but he is actually not; as the only thing keeping him alive is the crystal in his chest.

He aims to make a new Sunwell.

If Blizzard closes TK, I will quit.

    Good strat for 2nd boss.

Heroic on this is easier than people say, i did it with a Kara-geared group. The only boss that gave us trouble in Heroic was Vexallus, until we found the following ingenious strat:

Our pally tank pulled him to the other end of the room where there is a hallway. We didn't take the "slow approach" that has been discussed in every WoW forum in existence. Instead, we DPS'd the shit out of him.
However, whenever the adds spawned, all the DPS would run back into the hallway, and our Demon lock (a BM hunter might work too) would pick up the adds with her pet. The pet died after 3 iterations of this, but of course she had that insta-rez thang so it was no biggie. The important part about this is that the pet gets the debuff from killing the adds, which is otherwise a major load on your healer. also, all the damaging shit that gets thrown around doesnt affect the DPS for this small portion.

We also ran back in the hallway during the Overload phase, and our DOTs took care of the boss while he was tanked down.

To use a straight and narrow strat for this guy you have to be pretty damn geared, so i hope this trick helps people out.

Yes, I have done it too; it's pretty easy.
