You don't need Joanna's or Derek's Guide to leveling!:yuck:
This isn't truly a guide, as in, I'm not going to tell you how to level, or where to go to grind, or where to find quest items. But I will tell you that I leveled a priest from 12-16 in less than an hour using the new Quest Helper at Curse Gaming, and am going to give you some quick facts about it.
Seriously, this mod rocks. Of course it's free because it comes from Curse, so no I'm not selling anything. I just whole heartedly promote this mod for the sake of leveling ease.
It's essentially a mini-map/map mod. It puts an arrow on your minimap that leads you to the closest achievable quest, once that one is done - the arrow points to the next closest, and so on and so forth. If you hover your pointer above the arrow, it even tells you what the quest is, and what you need to do for it.
The key feature that makes this a must for power questers is the order of attack, and the way it puts the quests in order from nearest to farthest. So you don't waste your time running from one side of the map to the other, then back because you realize that there is another quest you forgot to do on the other side. It also includes travel times based on walking or mounted from one quest to the next.
Another cool thing is that if you can't get past a certain quest, say it's too hard, you can prioritize it to do after you've completed enough to level up, or get a group.
The actual map function does the same things essentially, but you can visibly view all the way points from quest one thru X, and see the exact path it recommends for optimum time.
Here is the link, and I recommend this for anyone thinking of powerleveling for themselves or other people: QuestHelper | World of Warcraft Addons | Curse
Miners and Herbalists
Should be used in conjuntion with Gatherer for optimum gold making while running from place to place.
