Why is Balance druid so good at PvP?

Well, I play on a private server, blizzlike and very good.
When I read other's posts in such forums about druid, they mostly refer to him as:
Feral - leveling
Resto - PvE and PvP (Healbot)
Balance - PvP.

why is that? I never saw a GOOD Balance druid who could beat a warlock/mage/rogue/priest.
Is it because of Moonfire? It's not that good, and he will run out of mana in no time.
anybody mind telling me why? cause I just got to 70 with my feral druid and i'm looking to switch..

I play a warlock and I eat boomkins for breakfast.

They have shitloads of armor compared to other casters, making me, a rogue, sad. Although, they're, like all other casters, a piece of cake.

It is because Boomkins have the instant Moonfire...so they just spam wrath until they proc and get their -0.5 sec duff then pull off a starfire and then just hit you with moon fire...then entangle roots and redo...their instant cast of moonfire makes them deadly
but yes...they can still be killed, only a good boomkin knows the ways..

boomkin, if played right, is an unstoppable class, they keep melee away, and can stand the hits if needed. they do incredibally high dmg with spells, and cmon, arcane resist is almost unheard of having. if they have 2 seconds, they can heal them selves to full at any time (lifebloom rejuv)... they are just great =D btw, im a moonkin lover, my fav class

Go to warcraftmovies theres crap loads of Boomkin pvp movies there , go into the druid section.

It's the only Druid that ever stood a chance against me so far. I used to have a huge misconception and thought Druids sucked because I never lost to a Feral one.

They have instant cast with a DOT. They stack the dots and pwn.

dude druids have 1 dot and overall it sucks

Think of it this way, its a mage in plate
But a moonkin requires alot more skill to play then a mage does
And a moonkin with enough mana always has heals at his disposal
An instant DD+DoT
They have treants for spell casters to interrupt their casting
They have roots for Melees.

Well, I don't think Boomkins are great at PVP. But if you're like a weird 33/0/28 spec, its VERY GOOD in 2v2 with a rogue partner. You can heal, and do insane damage and just burst someone down pretty quicky.
