    Can I hide or remove this ?

    The character name & guild floating above my character in the world is what I want gone.

    From my view.. I understand it'd still be visible to any other player looking at me..

    Looking for a little better & more specific info than "Try a mod called MoveAnything" or "Toggle all the name plates available in Key Bindings & see if it goes away"

    You can remove nameplates in the user interface. Just go to interface > names > and check the boxes of the names you want to see or remove.
