Myst UI is meant to eliminate the cluttered feel of the default Blizzard user interface.
It provides a graphical border with sections allocated for the minimap, two chat frames, and a button panel. Myst UI attempts to reposition the default Blizzard frames as needed.
There are no commands or settings.
Notes:
- I recommend turning UI scaling off entirely (uncheck Use UI Scale in Video Options).
- The left and right chat frames work best with a 12pt font size setting.
- Minimap zoom is done with the mouse wheel.
- The bottom left and bottom right action bars need to be turned on for them to show up in the action bar panel at the bottom.
- Page up and page down scroll the 'current' chat window. To change the selected chat window, double-click the title above the upper left corner.
Myst UI relocates some frames to keep them in the viewport. AddOn authors can disable this behavior for whatever elements they are working with by setting the 'nomyst' property (e.g. PlayerFrame.nomyst = true
. This does not apply to elements that are integrated into Myst UI itself (e.g. minimap, mainmenubar stuff, chat frames).
