You need to make a new bnet using the same last name, then he can't get it back. He'd have to know new e-mail and new name in order to even try it. You can also change the name on that battle.net so he doesn't trouble you

Even if you transfer the character to 20 new battlenet accounts. If the owner tries to get the account back there is nothing you can do.

blizzard only cares about the original account's email adress and Identification, not about battle.net accounts
so lets say u bought a SoR account which u do not know the original owner's name...if the original owner tries to get it back, there is no way in hell you could stop it no matter where u move it

I would have to disagree. Speaking from past experience, the owner CAN revert the character transfer EVEN if it is to a new account(if it's done recently). Moreover, he can always change the name on the bnet account back to his name if he claims he's been hacked.

    I agree with this.

No matter what, you can receive the account back. Theres no guaranteed-safe-guarded way.

Blizzard has records of transfer, accounts transfered off the current Battle.net.
They have records of CD keys, purchases everything.

Why can't I prove some of the purchases were with a certain Credit Card, and provided proof my Visa, Mastercard, or Paypal that I had paid those, therefore Blizzard would say "Oh, this guy took his account" And transfer it back.

    Resource you may ask:

Myself. I had to do it to a scammer, so i provided blizzard with account creation dates, account purchases, and boom. I have my account back.

Well this scares me alot... Im looking to buy myself a decent account, but does this mean i will never be safe? I mean the guy that i bought it from can always try to get it back from blizz, and i cant do anything about it?

You can get a copy of the person's ID, the CD key, and you might be a Bit safer. But in the end he can provide the same info. I'm not a lawyer or anything but that person MIGHT be able to claim Identity theft unless they sign something saying that you have the rights to submit a copy of his/her driver's license as proof of ownership of the login information.

They are actually asking for an ID with a fresh newpaper so if you have a photo of his ID u cant do much - hes going to be able to make a photo on a newspaper next to his ID

That's odd I just had to get an account unlocked a month before wod and I sent in my I'd. They didn't ask for a newspaper. I guess if it a thousand dollar account they can go get a new ID card and give you a current one.
