Can you PCT a Bought Account if you merge it to your battle net?

Can you PCT a Bought Account if you merge it to your battle net?

I am looking to buy a wow account but i want the character on my own wow account..

If i buy an unmerged account and merge it with my own, would it then be possible to PCT the character i want over to my account?

Well last time my friend checked it, both accounts have to be under the same battlenet. And I think if both are under the same battlenet, they're also both under the same last name ( of the battle net name ). But I can't confirm this

I think you can't merge/combine two accounts unfortunately, but you can put them both under one Battle.Net account, if that makes any sense. I basically ended up having to do this, and then paid to transfer my original Vanilla character over to my newer account in order to play as it without paying for two separate accounts.
