How did i get caught? Wow scamming...

Okay, so my main account gets an e-mail saying i am banned for economical exploitation. I send in a e-mail and i get this back:

"Thank you for your follow-up email regarding the account (My account). This account was closed after a Blizzard Entertainment investigation produced evidence indicating the account was associated to multiple accounts that participated in exploitative activities. Upon further review, we have determined that our original findings were accurate and the action was in line with our current policies."

So it means that they somehow linked me scamming on random accounts to my main...but how?

I use VPN and different IPs from my main. I have NEVER sent gold to my main account, or even been online on the same server. But i have dual logged a few times. Could it be my cache in the WoW folder? I have no clue how they found me. Any ideas?

Same did happen to me once...

I then realised that it was the Authenticator which I linked to a scammed account but never linked to my main account, was strange cause I also used VPN..

But how would that get ur main banned...? If u used ur authenticator on a scammed account, they wouldn't know that there is a link between the two.

Yeah, most likely the cache. I actually use two seperate WoW folders because I'm super paranoid

its no wrong to be paranoid about this... keep cache clean constantly or do as troidy.. have 2 wow folders

i get that email daily and i dont scam just farm wide. Its the standard ban email from follow up economy explotation which is also the standard first template they send usa side is banning wide lately.

yeah doesn't it make a copy folder in your WoW folders for each character logged on with that WoW? I don't know........

You can claim the account was hacked and you JUST found a trojan. that works with a success rate of about, 65% roughly.

Well "Cache" saves the data base for the thingies , is there actually a need to delete WTF/WTB folders?

Ask them how are you linked and you don't understand.

if you tried [email protected]. and still failed then email [email protected], but supervisor is only for US i think, i read it in a post here when i was trying to get mine unbanned never had to use supervisor tho. BTW that was my second perm ban, so im a lucky bastard.
