    [Help] Got scammed big time.

    Hey all,

Yesterday I was looking for a new wow account for myself and finally found a fully epic'ed out paladin.
The seller seemed legit, allthough he wasn't the OO, he knew the OO IRL and had the ID scan + all info.
So... dumb as I was, I sent the guy the amount of money we had agreed with, and perfectly got the account name and password + email change, but when I asked for the scan of the ID card, he suddenly went offline.
I thought, well maybe he DC'ed I dunno. But minuted became hours and I realised I got scammed.
So, no PCT for me, no ID scan for me, and no money refund to me thanks to Moneybookers, but the good news is, I got his mobile phone number, his adress, and all the contact information which I know are correct, because I traced down his IP and showed me the exact same info he gave me.
So, my question is now, could someone please call him and tell him I contacted the cops, and if he doesnt wants to get sued that he should call me or mail me.
Because when I call or mail him, he doesnt pick up cause it's my phone number.
P.S Is it okay to post the info here?
I'll wait for approval of posting it here, untill then P.M me for the details.
So, my idea was to give 5 euro to the person who can track his home phone number for me, or bash his face in, or come up with something which might get me into contact with him.
The person with the best idea/plan gets the money via Moneybookers.

    ~ Andorena.

EDIT: Got scammed for 175 euro, and the OO recalled it the day later.

I just recommend you to call him.. Once!
If he dosn't answer, try calling the Cops and tell them that the person took your money by a Money Transfer online and you didn't get what you needed (The Account) etc. etc.
Btw, its very important that you tell them a story as they WILL believe.

Just get the cops involved, tell them the story.
    You didnt do anything wrong.

Also contact moneybookers and tell them what happened and tell that the email of the guy and tell them that email is being used for scamming. (Maybe they can do anything about him)

Just your police station will do i think.

Else you can just spread out his details all over the wow sale websites so everybody knows he is a scammer. (Email address, IP Adress, home address just all you know)

Allready filed a complaint, they said they would be asking the guy a couple of questions and then come back and email me the report of it, but I dont trust them tbh.

What a ****ing moron, why wouldn't he hide his IP... Just for that, you should call him, leave him a voicemail telling him all the details about how you have his address and everything else.

If he doesn't call you back in an hour or so, call the popo.

My question to you is, did he provide you will all his legit information? Or did you merely whois the IP and said "Oh here is his details." Because just doing a whois on the IP isn't "Tracking down" him, it just gives you the ISPs location in that area and a phone number to their billing department / abuse email. UNLESS He has a dedicated line which allows him to place his information claiming ownership of the IP, THEN it might work, but that is usually very $$.

And in my experience, the cops wont do nothing as it wasn't that large of a amount. Now, say it was $1,000+ they might. But not for 175euros.

If you really want to come in contact with him, download skype, pay like $5 USD a month for international calling, call him up (Shows as a unlisted number) and explain what you are prepared to do if he does not provide a full refund of 175euros. Or just give him abunch of bullshit that sounds good and doesn't make you look stupid. Key thing to that, DON'T ACT LIKE A IDIOT ON THE PHONE CUSSING HIM OUT. Be calm, be polite, and get down to business.

Alot of people that can be calm and actually act serious on the phone have a higher success rate. So instead of paying some one to do it, do it yourself unless you have a voice of a 5 year old. And if he doesn't pick up. Leave a voice mail letting him know what you are prepared to do.

P.S: Sorry about your money mate, but it helps you learn to not just buy something because they "Claim" they have all the info. Check before buying.
