Hacked acct/looking for tips.

Basically I have FULL info to an account. I secured the account late friday night to prevent a recall. I have activated parental control and changed all the info possible. I transferred the main off to a new account registered to the same name but with a new SQA etc.

I'm in the process of getting the previous account permanently banned and locked.

However today I received an email including this as a GM answer:

Answer: I have forwarded your information to our Account Administration department in the hopes that they can reverse the transfer.

Now is this actually possible, to my understanding transfers are irreversible. If anyone has actually seen this happen, I'm looking for tips to prevent it. Authenticator would be considered but preferably not...seeing as they're on ebay for 50+ and Blizzard is out as usual.

I actually don't get how you manage to fish people with a website that has ads on it O.o.

Btw, does your phisher have account authentication detection?

you should not have xfered the character because YES character xfers are reversable i managed to trick blizz into telling someone hacked my account and credit card they xfered my character back and refunded my money but what you should do is add a blizzard authenticator to the account this will make it much harder for the person to get the account back

Yes they can be reversed, I just take the gold and then delete the char's. I don't waste my time trying to keep the accounts.

Hah I simply emailed them saying cancel the action. They responded with an okay since I maintain the registered email.
