If a buyer opens a dispute on Paypal for a good sum of money then closes it is there any other way he can get his money back?

no unless he calls paypal and deals with a bunch of legal shit
Even tough he opened and closed the dispute he still somehow has the funds on Hold...It says "placed" under status and the money is on Hold until it is investigated. There is nothing in my resolution center to send info to or anything...I thought after one dispute you could not open anymore.
I own a business and there have been times where the product wasn't shipped in a timely manner and the customer had place a dispute. During the time that the dispute is active the funds are placed on hold.
Once the dispute is closed the funds are then "unlocked" for you to use/transfer to your account. if for some unknown reason you did something and the person is wanting their money back and your paypal doesn't have the funds, they will go after the credit card that is attached to that account.
If that Credit Card/Visa/Master Card has no money on it then the customers bank will then go after your bank requesting the money and then your bank will go after you for the lack of funds including the fees for insignificant funds.
If it is not delt with properly you could be sued. Then you'll be forced to pay the Credit Card company, The court fees and the bank fees including a mark against you on your Credit Report up to 7 years.
