I don't know if anyone here knows yet but the Casino Ban in World of Warcraft has been lifted.

Since the word has gotten out about the ban on in game 'casinos' has been lifted, My server has had every single major city spammed with their macros. Trade, General, Yell and Say are being constantly spammed by these guys.

This is STILL bannable if you SPAM your advertisements!

How to use your casino skills to make money without scamming anyone~
Requirements: Nothing.

Spam this in trade/yell:
[YOUR CASINO] Now open! Blizzard has lifted the ban on in-game casinos (Official Post) Play with other players! Four participants bet gold into the pot, and roll 1-100. Highest roll gets the POT! 10% goes to the dealer.

Now, you will get people who will give you 1 copper or 1 silver, doesn't matter. As long as you get four people, just do exactly what you said in your macro. People will soon learn your name and trust you and start betting more gold.

Note: I realize you can't keep 10% of 5-6 copper, but I don't understand why you would want to keep 10% of it anyway... just wait until they give you 10+ gold.

Blizzard never made a blanket statement such as "Casinos are not bannable" but they have made statements that they aren't as long as:
they pay out as promised
they do not spam (highly subjective)
they aren't scams or pyramid schemes

The casinos themselves aren't necessarily currently against our policies. It's kind of a catch 22 though, wherein the activities associated with running an in-game casino are potentially significant violations of our policies.
