quick scam idea i thought of

a lot of people know that I hate phishing scams with all my heart but since everyone starts off with it than mine as well contribute to that "scam" category. What i was thinking while commenting another scam was lets say youre trading an account like normal, now tell the victim that you will change the email to his first than he can do the same to yours. h

e will agree of course now request an email change on your account and you will get an email saying that you need to confirm your email to be changed to [email protected] and it will give you a link. tell the victim that you will send the confirmation email to him so he can do it just to be safe.

Here is where the scam comes in send him an email with a fake email or an email sender under the name wowadmin or something you get the point and copy and paste everything on the original email except the link put your phisher link so when he click he will login now if possible make a page saying confirmed.

After that figure out what to do with the account.

Yea, phising is really time consuming so I'd agree to go with social engineering
