Will the +expriernce from heirloom items help when you level in cataclysm?

So as the title says, will it help? will it be worth replacing shoulders and chest for the heirloom items? should you also start farming the kalauk fishing derby to get the ring with +5% experience gained?

No, it won't help leveling from 80-85. There will be new heirlooms for the Cataclysm new levels.

The heirlooms only work for Lvl. 1 to 80
Ring is hard to obtain, don't wait till the last moment if you do.

XP bonus won't work past level 80. You will have to buy new Cataclysm heirloom items which haven't been spotted in the beta yet as far as I know.

are you guys sure it wont work form 80 to 81? cause if you have the bonus at 80?

I would guess that the current heirlooms will still work until you hit level 81, so may not be much but its 1 level 20% faster.
