Gear Help : Druid

Pre-WotLK I was a Tank for my guild. Because I started playing WoW late my gear was just about good enough for Kara, so I OTed and Tanked some myself for them. They recommended me a list of gear to get and I got that for them.

After WotLK was released, I started playing about a week ago. I have changed my feral spec points for pure leveling, and have crappy gear from quest rewards.

As I get on towards 80 I will spec resto to heal for my guild. My question is, what kind of stats should I be aiming for and which gear is good to reach this? I have never got gear for dps or healing before so go easy on me

Don't worry about soft haste cap as resto, it's more aimed twords boomkin, though it is a bonus if you can get it.

well first of all feral sucks without a good gear...and secondly if u wanna become a healer get some good tiers and do raids !! lots of them

I don't find elitistjerks that good nowadays, but I do agree you want SP>SPI>INT.

Agreed with above. SP is the greatest stat you can have. Most druid heals are instant so haste isnt necessarily important.

Spirit, Int and Spellpower are all important for Resto. Though i couldnt tell you the exact gear to get, just those stats.
