Yes, you can ALLWAYS can get banned from scams, but EU gms are more Lazy then US GMs, but u can Allways get banned yes

Normally the EU GMs dont do anything about scams, but i cant say that it wont happen.

My Cousin has 3554g of only scamming hes on EU Realms (Aggramar) and have scammed for 9months now: No Ban... -.- btw, iasked an EU <GM> 2hoaurs ago and he said "No. We can not do anything about it" lol... Btw, you can go to EU Rules and read

Hell yeah, you always can. Infact I just got off a three day suspension for the turtlemount scam..



And those Dumb GMs I logged on yesterday and I lost more than 12 items! +80g!

The in-game scam:

A scam in-game is acquiring items or any other property (though all data on the World of Warcraft service is the property of Blizzard Entertainment, we use the term “property” to describe characters, items, and in-game currency) from another player through misinformation, confusion or fraud (Scamming). In short, using any sort of deception to gain at another’s expense.
Example:
Trying to get an item from another player by claiming he will get it back with an enchantment
We do not want to encourage players to use this kind of roleplay in-game scam but we consider them as part of the game mechanics. So we will not take actions in those cases and we invite the players to be very cautious with their items. In short, don’t give items to players that you don’t know! However, if this kind of behavior is found to be systematic from a particular individual, we will investigate further to determine what course of action should be taken.
We encourage everyone to read our FAQ in order to avoid scams. Due to many variables involved with item reimbursement and types of scams, item reimbursement will not be granted in the case of in-game scams.
