got 72hr ban for powerlvl and they offered me gold as a refund

I just got my account 3 day suspension with final warning for power lvling. Email from Blizzard says that it is temporarily disabled for exploitation of the WoW economy. My char got to lvl 30, but since I don't want my acct to get perma-banned, I asked them for a refund for 31-60. They are saying that they can only give me a refund as gold (about 1500g).

Do you think that there is a risk that my account might be perma-banned if I receive that amount of gold from them??:confused:

Well they got your account banned, and they offering you gold as a refund? Well.. could be dangerous if they got your account banned.. I wouldn't accept, but that's your choice.

Ive sold 2.5k gold on one character over the span of 4 days... I doubt you will get banned again... My account has a warning on it for botting and for scamming as well, still no temp bans

did you logged in on the account while they were powerleveling? that is usually the main reason for banning. But now blizz will be on a lookout for you

simple thing to do is just have a friend get it that you trust and have them send it to you

That happened to me too, but since it was a dummy account I was using I accepted their offer of continued levelling and they completed to 60 without a problem - even though it was hideously slow it was at least safer. I'd go with accepting the gold, with a diff account if you have one. If you hassle them for much else they tend to just ignore you so imo something is better than nothing for it. <3
