Yeah, it almost made it along side of wrath for me. I just didn't like the story that much, it had some great systems though and i always felt like i was doing something.

Timeless isle + the censer was some of the best fun i've had in the game, finally getting to nuke dead that guy from trade because you could kill your own faction was great. I spent months collecting rage whispers. Cms were great, rbgs were thriving (apart from the t2 weapons at the start, that was a bit crap). I even enjoyed the pet battle system and the celestial tournament that came with it, which in all honesty was the pinnacle of pet battling.

I think its downfall really was it gave us too much in the way of ability's and classes basically started to become the same, so thats when they decided to prune us going into wod which went too far and we ended up like we are now.

Even though i rated cata last, that to me was when i felt classes felt great to play. They had seemed to have iron out most of the clunky game play, my mm hunter was awesome to play (it was in mop aswell) Same with my fire mage.

Vanilla, TBC and Wrath for life. MoP was pretty awesome too, shame so many people hated it.

Oh man, I love threads like this.
    For me, personally...

    S: MoP, WotLK
    A: Legion
    B: Classic, TBC
    C: Cataclysm
D: Battle for Azeroth, Warlords of Draenor

For hardcore raiding both MoP and WotLK were soooo good, Throne of Thunder and Ulduar are my absolute favourite raids. PvP-wise I really loved MoP and Legion.
I think I was a bit too young to truly appreciate Classic & TBC, which is why they are half-way for me.

One thing im gaining from this thread is how much MoP was beloved. I cant disagree. My only spite was it technically introduced the first form of titanforging with thunderforging and even though it didnt plague MoP it plagued future expansions.

Hmm, I can't remember why Cataclysm was such a good PvP expansion, I mostly raided during that time though. Care to elaborate?

I'm so glad to see a lot of love for MoP as well, I think that is something all players can agree on.
Thunderforging in MoP was actually such a good concept. I truly hope 8.2 will redeem BfA a little, just like the later patches in Legion redeemed the expansion. Because Legion was pretty bad in the first few months as well.
