WARNING: Battle.net Account Management Changes
Blizzard is in the process of reworking the account management features on their website. Myself and a couple others are monitoring the changes closely. I will add updates to this thread as they come in.
What we know:
- Account SQA (security question answer) can be changed freely
- Account email address can be changed without SQA (security question answer)
- First name on an account can be changed freely
Although this seems like a massive account security hole, we don't know if these changes are intentional or a simply bug yet.
I would strongly advise people put any RMT activity on hold until we know for sure what's up.

The changes make sense if their only goal is to discourage people from RMT activity, but these changes affect people who aren't involved in the RMT community at all as well. They've spent years improving account security measures and these changes seem like a huge step back.
For now they seem to be intentional since they've given no indication that they're bugs, but hopefully that will change once people start having issues.

Well, you can still offer self-played services, not all hope is lost yet.

True, the implications are worse for account sales.
