Others too afraid to use bots?
Hello team,
There is absolutly no meaning to this thread other than sharing oppinions on using bots on our beloved accounts we don't wanna lose.
I have been playing since mid vanilla only with a couple of breaks but more or less played every expansion. My account is very Is very valuable to me and i do not want to lose it. I have a bit more than +550 days played across all chars.
I am achievement grinder and i find myself at 22k at the moment, however some very very timeconsuming achievements like fishing and petbattles are tearing me apart (So FUCKING boring) and i cba to do them.
For a long time i've been thinking about botting again, i used to do it back in vanilla with Glider and i used another bot during TBC. However i am waaaay to scared to use it now since the account is so valuable to me and i do not wanna loose it.
Does any of you share this feeling? And do you say 'fuck it' and bot anyway?

It ain't worth botting unless it's suicide botting. Some people have made their own bots recently for fishing etc such as Sychotix. Maybe you could learn it yourself. But yeah if you can't afford losing your account then don't do it.

No its very unsafe to bot these days. Ive botted since vanilla and ive been banned twice and its been in late legion.
My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.

Personally i got banned 3 times, once during vanilla and twice in TBC, haven't really been botting since. I am too afraid to do it now

I think you have your answer :-D
It's definitely not worth the risk now on any account of value.

I havent botted since wotlk so im abit outdated on recent events. What has changed in blizzard's bot detection to make bans from botting so much more frequent theese days?

It was not ment on gold, it was ment on Achievements. Some of the very very grindy achievements are the most boring ones. Winning 1000 pet battles... ResidentSleeper. Acheology, fishing. There is maybe 500+ achievement points to gather in either of these professions. As you say, gold is not an issue, neither is leveling, thats not considered a grind in my book. Only the achievements, like +500 hours commited.
