Would you set-up a Wow account with VPN for botting, to be supre safe?

Title, regular IP or with VPN? I've never bought or activated anything with VPN over the internet before. Is this necessary or not needed?

Use your normal IP for registration and log in not using a bot for a while, when you start botting, use a VPN so if it does get banned then you may be able to swindle your way to an unban stating you were hacked.

Blizzard knows if you use a vpn or not. when you login you send all info and blizzard can still see the same mac adress only with a diff ip adress.
