Hey all,

So Manaflask posted this article recently; am I the only one who's annoyed by this? The fact that both Blizzard and community sites seem to pretend OC doesn't exist, but when some "semi-famous" streamer shows off an exploit it's immediately covered and portrayed as an amazing feat.

Anyway, thoughts?

People tend not to want to mention OC so they don't get on Blizzard's bad side. When streamers do something it's considered pro-community. When we do something it's considered an attempt to kill someone or break something.

Yeah, official exploits! Nice, that is like all the newspaper secrets about life we can read on the open internet. Weightloss programs inc. Sure, let them get a taste of a glimpse of something deeper, whatever... haha

I tend to think any love for exploits in the "mainstream" is probably a good thing.

But yeah I understand your frustration. People on the exploration forum found out about this at least five years ago.
Some crediting as to the original source would be really nice.
