WoD beta servers are online

It looks like blizzard has opened the wod beta servers for no reason at all. Some insiders say they are preping them for a gamescon new expansion gameplay.
Also no one knows for sure what patch are the servers running atm.
I think its safe to say they are also not using the beta servers for the next wod patch as they usually use those patches on ptr or internal servers.

Just because something is responding on those hosts, doesn't mean it's the WoD beta servers, it could be anything. Can we not ping the servers for some realm details?

I am sure, that Blizzard use them for inside pre-alpha testing of next expansion. And it's normal. Anyway we can't recieve client
