Not that I'm aware; I don't think theirs been any huge spike, but it's typically easier to get rating at the end of an expansion, especially MoP (considering how long the last two seasons went on). Additionally, I think you can still get Arena Master from 7/8/90 brackets, which are typically broken.

For a while, we were selling arena master for level 80's to merge into your account. That died when we lost the instant level 80's.

With the release of WoD, they removed all rated arenas and battlegrounds from all brackets but the current(100 bracket).
