How to sell gold and not get banned?

Basically, the question is in the title. I am returning to WoW after a little break, but I do not want to pay $15 for my subscription. It's not that I CAN'T, I just don't want to. However, I don't want to trade my gold for gametime either, as I don't want to get scammed and I simply prefer money. So how do I go about this in a safe manner? For example, how much gold should I sell at a time, and how should I go about selling it? I've read mixed reviews on face-to-face, auction house, and guild bank methods. I simply want to know what is the BEST, as account safety is a high priority for me (and I already know you guys are going to say if its not that important, then don't sell gold.. However, it doesn't seem like a HUGE risk unless I make it blatantly obvious like selling a million gold in a face to face.)

Well considering I can buy another account for $20, thats $40 profit...jk

There is no safe way. Only sell when you've got enough to cover a new account and make a healthy profit. That's the risk. Do you be greedy and keep going, risk getting banned and lose it all? Or sell early and only make a smaller profit margin.

i Have another account and trade the gold with guildbanktransfer. I invite the buyer and give him his gold with guildbank. I have trade more than 5 Mio Gold, no Bann. Its luck.

Don't sell/buy via really known VPN's - that get you banned after day 1
Don't sell/buy with chinese resellers - really high risk of getting banned
Buy bchest for 2,5GBP and sell golds via Guild bank. If you want to continue with selling/buying, buy another bchest, invite char to that guild and let that account be. So if you get banned on the first account, you use this to withdraw the golds and create new one.
If you will do many transactions/day I'd recommend you to do more GB's
