Cross-realm hopping

How do I do it? I've tried serveral times to do this but it always fails. By server hopping I mean the following: My main is on a high pop server and I get invited by another toon on a low pop server. The toon on the low pop server "switches" realm, but I want my main to hop to the low pop server instead. What to do?

you need to be invited to the realm you want to join, if your level 90 the person inviting you must be level 90. you cant transfer to a lower levels realm.

I have two accounts.

Examples.

Account 1 has my main and a character on a low pop server. *both lvl 90*
Account 2 has a lvl 85 on a low pop server as well.

I invite my 90 on my main account with my 85.. 85 is the group leader.
Then I log onto my 90 on my high pop server and invite myself to a group using /invite name-mal'ganis

It will zone you to the low pop server and you can stay there as long as the 90 on the low pop is in the group.

You don't have to be logged into the 90 or 85 to stay there.

I do this everytime I mine.
