Does RAF give exp boost for pet battles?

Does RAF give exp boost for pet battles? Like being next to the one your RAFed to and trade winning with them?

Never tried it out myself, but my understanding is that RAF XP boost does NOT affect pet battle XP:

I know that it doesn't give XP to the pets, I'm saying to you recieve a character XP boost for winning a battle after winning a pvp pet battle?

No it doesn't, i tried with a 2 man raf team last week

I don't know much about pet battles but I don't know why it wouldn't work.
