Hi everyone. I am somewhat new to ownedcore, and I love it here. I think the fact you can play a video game and make money from it is just awesome. But people, PLEASE watch out for overseas ( no offense) skype adds. If you see someone from China, Japan, Uganda, basically anywhere from the US just please be careful. I just started selling gold, as I normally sell accounts/powerleveling/professions, and I mean as SOON as I made a thread about selling my KT gold, I have YET to get a legit person. When I see someone is from overseas, the first thing I ask them is to provide the paypal they want to pay for the gold on, I check for verification ( which by the way how I check is https://www.paypal.com/verified/pal= After the = just put the customers email, and it will tell you verified or not verified. ) And most of the time, The overseas person will not have a verified paypal. BECAUSE overseas can't have a verified paypal. Then I proceed with the trading. But this is how I do it. But please, please take precaution with trading your hard earned gold to a scammer. You can make stealth PP accounts using VCCs. And you can even verify those accounts, lift limits and such.....So not all PP accounts that are verified are legal..

markons is right and chargebacks are rife in this business. check out the scam prevention part of the forums to better educate yourself in protecting against it.

Yes, I am aware of the stealth paypals. I just made this and will add too it in the long run, because I am new to this small business and hope someone will read over it and maybe get something out of it. Thanks for the replies =D

Post that to a hosting site like imgur.com, attachments here seldom get approved.

I only sell to the asian buyers here with high rep, and i have a fairly good relationship built with them so i dont get crappy buy offers like most do. Its all about who you know and how polite and professional you are in doing business.

I have posted about this and I will keep on. Its very hard to find a legit buyer. Also, most european countries do support PayPal and you can get it verified without cheating. First of all you gotta research, simple google search for your buyer will reveal a scammer in first 10 results. On the other hand, verified PayPal means nothing as I have one in a country that doesn't support PayPal at all, while AbsoluteGamers, for instance, a legit gold buyer, doesn't have one and uses Moneybookers. In trading world, its all about reputation. Ask people here, ask some friends, do your homework and you will never get scammed. I'm in this market for a VERY long time, and I've yet to be scammed. And until recently, I've use Moneybookers only.

I'm not saying everyone with an unverified paypal isn't legit. I'm just showing the facts. And it is almost 100% of the time, if someone contacts you on skype and they are in china, japan, singapore, uganda, that they are scammers. I will preach it till I go, being verified, taking your screenshots with the orderform they complete, is a way you'll win EVERYTIME in a dispute.

Might want to change the OP as most Euro countries can be verified Paypal customers
Personally I go with rep over being "paypal verified" as that means nothing when its easy to scam with paypal nearly always siding with the buyer.

When i sold gold with paypal i request them to put a note with "I received my item/service/work before this payment was made - I promise not to chargeback" if they want to receive their gold.
