Kick people from LFG during boss fights?

I was just kicked mid fight. I assume there is no longer the combat restriction. Can anyone with more friends confirm?

I just attempted. "Players cannot be kicked while in combat, or shortly after combat."

Strange. We were on a boss fight, I was kicked, but still received the JP for the kill.

i have had that happen to me as well and its from them doing it before the fight.

What most likely happened was that the vote was initiated before the fight, but people didn't finish voting until the fight had already begun.
