Look around on the big wow trading/selling forums, I'm currently waiting for my invite, cost me $75 but accounts with Cataclysm beta and a level 10 char have been sold for much much more, so getting it on my own account for that price is quite nice if you ask me.

there are both key versions and automatic, the random selected players, along with the guild contest winners were automatically added, although blizzard gives key versions to Curse.com and WoWinterface.com to distribute to addon/mod authors,
