    A new way to find xyz coordinates?

    I wasn't sure where I should post this, and I'm not sure of the way that programs get xyz coordinates...but I noticed something when my WoW Crashed...

    This was the error I received:

    Not enough storage is available to process this command.

    Program: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
    File: .\M2Shared.cpp
    Line: 267

    Requested 1072928 bytes of memory


    WoWBuild: 12213
    Realm: myrealm [myIP]
    Local Zone: The Violet Hold, Dalaran
    Local Player: Mycharname, random string of numbers, (5746.3,528.447,652.84)

    Well, the line where it says Local Player, would the (5746.3,528.447,652.84) be the xyz coordinates?

    Possibley, however it could be quicker to just read this from memory

    True, while it would most likely be easier to read the memory, would this not be safer? I really do not know much about memory reading/editing, but as far as I know it is detectable. I think the game would less likely ban/warn you for a crash, than for reading something prohibited by the ToS. Not to say I have anything against memory reading/editing, just pointing that out.

    Nothing wrong with reading memory. It's easier, just as safe and it won't crash your client.

    Nice way to find ur XYZ coords for those who are clueless about Memory Reading ^^

    Off-topic: I would love to know more about Memory Reading/Editing, any good guides for newbies out there to begin with?
