Is it just me or do these guys look quite like each other?

Maybe the glowing eyes, nose and the triangular shape of the head, but that's about it.

A little bit, but then again you could say all humans look a like too.

The artist obviously managed to capture his idea of what a demon/dragon/wtfthatthingis and then changed certain characteristics to make it unique, same as cartoonists change human faces and shapes to make them more recognizable from each other.

looks completely different to me, other than being red.

only 2 things, yhe lower one is a balrock, (Huge fire demon with more fire)
The upper one is a dragon as far as I know, but yes the mouth, eyes and colours of the head is alike.
